'Bookie Lottery' in rec.gambling.lottery is the appanage of one Doollow (aka Evil Nigel). The topic came back recently. I didn't think it was in the proper forum:

• "The Best RGL Posts All-Matters Lottery, Software, Strategies, Systems".

The bookie resident asked a few questions about Parpaluck's lottery systems. I decided to create a new thread focused on the topic. Thusly I deleted my posts from the aforementioned thread and created this one.

• Doollow: "By what criteria do you consider your skip systems to be the best?"
• Mathematics and statistical analyses.
• The ranges of analyses are based on mathematics. Long ranges of skip generation are ineffective — that’s exactly what the cuckoos in WLC do. Their long-range skips hit ‘4 in 24’ winning numbers once in a blue moon. And the ‘drugged representative’ of the ‘Year of the Pig’ considers the event a “profit”! Lose millions of quids in 20 trials, and that’s makes it a profit! Similar to what Hermaphrodite Kotskarr believes: He is a ‘Man’ AND a ‘Woman’!

• Doollow: “Do they win more money for users than competing systems?”
• The only other lottery skip system is Gail Howard’s. But she started her system based on gut-feeling, not math(s). Her skips were determined in rapport to the last 5 and 10 lotto draws — regardless of game format.
• There is no record of Gail Howard’s lotto skips system hitting from draw to drawing over a period of 1000 tries, a 6/49 lotto game considered.
• By the same token, my lotto skip system records consistently about 2 ‘6 of 6’ hits in 100 drawings — about 18-20 hits in 1000.
• However, I stressed this is not the best way to apply the lottery skip systems — in their ‘non-positional form’. The ‘positional skip systems’ are far more effective. Furthermore, one should — and must — eliminate all non-positional combinations from the positional output. That method can also construct the best lotto wheel for any game format. These are some of the most relevant threads in r.g.l.

• NEW WORLD-RECORD LOTTO WHEEL W(54, 3 of 6) = 274.

• Doollow: “Are they used to generate the RANDOM entry in this year's WLC?”
• I expressed HONESTLY my opinion on WLC on several occasions in this very hou’ Kotkoduck and Kokostirk built. They don’t participate in WLC, either. They regard WLC the same way I do: an exercise in insanity. “One single winning number out of 24 is more valuable than 6 winning numbers — the jackpot!!!”

• You assuredly get better results if applying my lotto-skips systems. The ‘secret” is to go back a number of draws and then create the skips based on the ‘parpaluck’ advised by my software. As you’ve seen, a non-positional skip system hits only 2 times in 100 draws. It’s an average of 50 draws in a 6/49 game. Make it 60 draws in your game.
• So, you go back 60 draws in your history file. In other words, delete the top-60 drawings and save the file under a different name. Create the skips systems based on that file.
• If it happened that your new skip system already hit a ‘6 of 6’ in the last 60 drawings, delete the last 59 draws, etc. Most likely, you don’t have to delete more than 55 past draws off the top of your real-drawings file.

• Instead of skips, you can apply the same strategy in rapport to the MOST FREQUENT lotto numbers.

• After going back 60 draws and creating the skips/frequency system (of 24 numbers), play it for the duration of WLC — unchanged. Your hits will definitely improve. Problem is, everybody else will play the same system! You, the cuckoo participants, can add variation by applying different ‘parpalucks’ (ranges of analyses).

• But be mindful, cuckoos, you “playing’ 134596 combinations multiplied by 20. You must win at least ONE JACKPOT in order to be SUCCESSFUL! Otherwise, you’d be in the same category as the ‘drugged porcupine of the ‘Year of the Eastern Pig’. You’d lose millions, but would shout you made a profit!!!

This system was created one year ago specifically for the game “played” in ‘Cuckoo WLC’.

Evil Nigel wrote of Feb XIV, MMXIX :

"The system I use to bet with bookmakers has hit-and-skip elements, although they're very deep under the covers. It needs 2000 draws of history. It returns two sets of 6 'best' numbers, which it then self-evaluates. Whether it makes a loss or a profit, you'll have to keep guessing.

Is it better than your system? I'm not claiming mine's the best so I don't have to prove anythog or, as in your case, pluck a claim out of thin air."

Doollow:

“Thin air” refers to you. In other words, you just made up your system. The technique is known “ex burtibus”: “out of the guts” (especially after a pint of whiskey!)

A number-group analysis range of 2000 past draws is as crazy as WLC! The trends form in far shorter ranges (i.e. ‘parpalucks’).

Perhaps you refer to ‘one 6-number lotto combination”. But for that, you would need millions of past draws and possibly millions of future draws for the system to come to fruition!

That type of system can be applied much more efficiently to the pick-3 lottery (1000 straight sets from 000 to 999). I just fulfilled a system. I went back a number of past drawings. I did a frequency report for the straight sets in a range equal to the FFG median for the game. The 10-20 most frequent sets will hit as soon as 10 drawings most of the time. Some sets will hit as many as 3 times in the next range of drawings equal to FFG median.

But you can’t apply this system to jackpot games. You need multiple lifetimes to reach millions of past drawings. Even the pick-4 games (0000 to 9999) might not have enough past draws.

As for my skip system I refer to, it is backed by real data. It shows 15-20 hits in 1000 past drawings (or about 2% hit rate). The skip median is 6 — calculated by an undeniable formula). The system success is analyzed ‘from drawing to drawing’. That is, the system is recalculated after every draw if a hit was not recorded. Applying Gail Howard’s skip system the same way, chances are good you will not record 1 hit in 1000 draws. A one-time hit in 1000 draws might be possible at times…

Look at a real-life report (replicable in any 6/49 game; the median skip is different in 6/59 lotto). A ‘skip = 0’ means the number hit in consecutive draws (i.e. a repeat from the last drawing).

I do not rely on the non-positional skip/frequency systems 'as to win directly'. The 2% hit-rate is not satisfactory for me. Therefore, the best usage of such systems is to feed them to my proprietary ‘LIE Eliminating’ strategy.

Doollow:

I got it now. Your play is like casino gambling. It is not offered in the United States. I wouldn’t be much interested, though. It is way too hard to hit ‘6 of 6’, even ‘5 of 6’ in only one combonation.

The pick-3 lottery system I talked about in my previous post can be applied to bookie lotteries. The FFG median for 6/59 lotto is 8. I ran the Super Utilities, function ‘1: Singles Rundown’. One file shows the 6/59 lotto numbers in descending order based on frequency.

The UK data file on my PC recorded the last draw on March 14, 2018 (PI Day). The most frequent number was 53 with 4 hits in the last 8 drawings. I would select the next lower frequency and then numbers to make a 6-number combonation: 10, 9, 7, 19, 29, 30.

A variation of this system: I delete the last 4 draws (FFG deviation). I do the statistical report at that point in the data file. Select 6 numbers as per above.

I keep also in mind that most skips are 0 or 1. One lotto number from the last draw appears quite often.

I add 1 to FFG median and FFG deviation. That way, half of the lotto numbers have at least one appearance, the other half none.

• There is a new useful feature for reading the Usenet posts in Google Groups. The vast majority of newsgroup members use GROUPS.GOOGLE.COM to post and read on the Internet pioneering service, Usenet.

One drawback of the Google service, very useful otherwise, is the default font. It is a proportional font (of variable-width, that is). However, initially Usenet was written and shown in a monospace font.

Many of the statistical reports I posted did not show up in an acceptable format. The original format was in the typewriter format 9the Courier font). I shall inventory the most important posts in this newsgroup and refer the readers to this important thread. Viewing will be better off overall.

It is quite easy and simple to add this useful feature to two of your browsers: Chrome and Firefox. Just read this axiomatic thread:

I only heard that the bookie payouts are better than the traditional lottery payouts. But WTF are the payouts in bookie lotteries? Searching goes nowhere! I wanted to check bookmakers that offer lottery betting, but the only buttons were ‘Sign in’ and ‘Open account’… Why the secrecy? Just have the home page open to everybody. Offer also a search facility and comprehensive terms and conditions.

The Doollows of the world didn’t want to help me regarding the bookie lottery payouts/odds!

Indubitably, the bookies offer superior odds or payouts. From another perspective, the bookie lotteries offer far better payouts for the same odds compared to traditional software. I offered specialized software almost a decade ago. O tempora! O mores!

"Apologies. We Brits are so used to wall-to-wall bookie adverts that we
take it for granted that backward countries have the same access.

Here's a reasonable place to start:

Doollow:

Thanx a lot, indeed.

Yup, backward is valid in several regards. For example, a curiously large number of Americans still believe in Armageddon. And they back the belief by electing a Trump — who has the behavio(u)r capable of leading to Armageddon.

I made a comparison between Bet365 and New York 6/59 lotto.

• 1 of 1 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 9.83
• Bet365 pays 8/1, 81% fairness

• 1 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 2.62
• NY pays 0, 0% fairness

• 2 of 2 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 114.07
• Bet365 pays 100/1, 87% fairness

• 2 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 10.26
• NY pays 1 (free ticket), 10% fairness

Problem with the online lottery bookies (as the only ones available in USA): Trust. But I travel to Romania and they have lots of bookies of all kinds. One can bet at the window. I tested them and they paid me promptly for a bet on American football.

By contrast, a bet I made online on Super Bowl 52 went sour. I won, but they asked me to send them all kinds of IDs by email. I sent them a few times, but they always found a problem with the images! It was clear they wanted me to give up on withdrawing and keep betting. In the end, they refunded my initial deposit and closed my account.

Perhaps they are afraid they’ll scare potential customers away! My bet on Super Bowl last year was a terrible experience. I called out all Internet bookmakers “Online Criminals” and I was one of those U.S. bettors who posted in public forums. After headaches, I only got my money back and closed my account.

The latest comparison between the Bet365 bookie and the 6/59 lotto game of New York State Lottery (NYSL). It is the only jackpot game with 2 tickets for $1. The NYSL odds are calculated based on 2 tickets per unit (dollar).

• 1 of 1 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 9.83
• Bet365 pays 8/1, 81% fairness (i.e. 19% house edge)

• 1 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 2.62
• NYSL pays 0, 0% fairness (i.e. 100% house edge)

• 2 of 2 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 114.07
• Bet365 pays 100/1, 87% fairness (i.e. 13% house edge)

• 2 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 10.26
• NYSL pays 0, 0% fairness (i.e. 100% house edge)

• 3 of 3 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 1625.45
• Bet365 pays 1300/1, 80% fairness (i.e. 20% house edge)

• 3 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 48.08
• NYSL pays 1, 2% fairness (i.e. 98% house edge)

• 4 of 4 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 30,341.73
• Bet365 pays 25,000/1, 82% fairness (i.e. 18% house edge)

• 4 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 1,089.92
• NYSL pays 30, 3% fairness (i.e. 97% house edge)

• 5 of 5 in 6 from 59 bookie odds: 1 in 834,397.67
• Bet365 pays 250,000/1, 30% fairness (i.e. 70% house edge)

• 5 of 6 in 6 from 59 lottery odds: 1 in 72,207.49
• NYSL pays 1600, 2% fairness (i.e. 98% house edge).

• Instead of generating full 5/6-number lotto combinations, the player can more easily use the 'Super Utilities' functions of the Bright / Ultimate Software packages.
• For example, a triplet (3-number group) skips even 5000 draws (including simulated ones) in a 6/49 lotto game. I saw occurrences of 15 in 100 lottery drawings. The function 3: Triplets Rundown generated a report showing around 65 triplets that came out 0 times (no appearance) in the "last 5000 draws". Go to the end of the SOR (sorted) report file to count the 3-number groups with 0 frequencies.
• Playing those triplets, without any additional filtering, assures a good profit with every reputable bookie lottery operator. You need first to check out as many bookie lotteries as possible!

• • •

• WARNING! There is a serious issue with the online betting sites: TRUST, or lack thereof. I started warning would-be gamblers about the dangers of gambling online as early as the 2000s. Read:
• “Online Betting Sites Survive Only by Cheating the Gamblers”.

• Read also reviews by real online gamblers regarding one of the largest and most advertised online betting operators in the world, Bet365:
• “Customer Service Reviews of Bet365”. Most reviewers regard the online gambling giant as terrible!

• Bad reviews by real online gamblers regarding the UK-based Ladbrokes:

• In fact, I've only seen BAD (as in TERRIBLE) reviews of bookies, especially online. Looks like ALL of them are part of a global mafia. They even control the so-called national gambling commissions, or gaming control boards, etc.

The payouts promised by bookies are great alright. Even if the bookies dropped the lotto combination play, their terms remain better by order of magnitude comparatively to government-controlled lotteries.

But is it the classic 'too good to be true' scenario? If one could only find window betting offering the same super odds/payouts!

One would only hope that the notorious Doollow here is sincere. Doollow, tell us, please, how you play the bookie lotteries. Is it at the window, in a physical location? Or, miraculously, you found the HONEST online betting facility!

Actually, there are reports of unfair play even in windows betting! The bookmakers offer very attractive betting options, far superior to traditional lotteries. But it might be a smokescreen. The bookies just take your money and don't follow thru when bettors win. As a guy with a sharp sense of humour, Kotskarr, warned his dear mate Doollow:
• "LAD, you go BROKE..."

Let’s tell it like it is. I launched this warning as early as the 2000s:
BEWARE OF THE CRIMINAL ONLINE GAMBLING SITES!

I posted a message related to bookie lotteries on Facebook. A blue square textbox from Facebook urged me immediately: "Boost this post!" I did it for a meager amount of money. First, Facebook informed me that the boost was actually an ad AND that the ad was approved.
• "Analysis of Bookie Lottery: Odds, Payouts, Special Software".

Three days later, after reaching 15K people, Facebook sent me a totally different message. The "boost" was disapproved, but I could reboost the bust... although they would have busted it again after a few days! And they explained to me why the bust of the boost:

1) "We do not allow ads for online gambling, games of skill or lotteries, unless they have been approved by us before hand (sic!)...
2) Please note, we do allow ads that promote government run lotteries, gambling tips, brick and mortar casinos, and other free to play apps."

• My (logical) explanation: THERE WERE STRONG COMPLAINTS FROM STRONG PLAYERS IN THE GAME AGAINST MY BOOKIE POST –
1) FROM BOOKIE LOTTERIES
2) FROM GOVERNMENT-RUN LOTTERIES
3) FROM ALL OF THE ABOVE.

1) Bookie lotteries had two serious issues:
1A) software and systems that can beat their "generous" house edge (they might say "odds")
1B) the FRAUD, rampantly characteristic to online gambling.

2) Government-run lotteries had a serious issue with the 'fairness' & 'house edge' concepts that throw them state agencies deeply in the darkness. "2% fairness??? That's horrible!!!"

It doesn't mean that keeping things secret would make any (positive) difference for players. In fact, the abuse would be aggravated by an order of magnitude. The abusers always fear discussions in the open...
