I missed posting my efforts up.
But then I did have to buy 500 tickets for my works syndie. All our
winnings from must-be-won Wednesday went onto Jackpot Saturday. On
Saturday we did get 1 Match4 and 7 Match3s and numerous Lucky Dips
back. Last 2 occasions the Lotto paid over a 100 and then nearly a
100 for the match3, so unusually we made our money back and some.
However, Camelot/Alwyn continue to cheat the punter on the Match4
returns. The Match4 has four Match3s in it (ABC, ABD, ACD, BCD) and
so the Lotto should pay four times the Match3 prize, They don't.
They pay less. They penalize the player for being "too clever by
half". Our £274 should really have been £372. Bah!
I based our entry on the 119 lines from the La Jolla tables. Then
tweaked them 4 times to allow for our 500 lines. The 119 grid gives a
rough promise of 1 Match3 per 119 lines.

The rest was pure luck.

Like casinoes who don't like players who win, I guess neither to
lotteries. well done for making a return on the money spent.
I am curious did you raise any eyebrows as you waited to purchase 500
tickets at your local supermarket. Thats a lot of cash
I have an on-line account. I could buy all but £200 quids worth on-line
as my limit was reached. So I split it between two shops. No one
batted an eye lid. But I have to go with the winning tickets on Thursday
to get the winnings for two Match3s, the other winnings were on-line and
go straight into the account. Why Thursday you might say? We like our
Lucky Dips for the Saturdays and not say tomorrow Wednesday. And the
shops don't delay, so if I went for the cash now I'd get Lucky Dips for
weds. [First world problem]. But I'm mighty pleased to be in this
position. But now it's a question of biding time until the next
must-be-won Lotto (possibly June 1st). Hopefully any return will skip a
Match4 and we'll get a Match5 instead.
I took the numbers from my grids above (4 mixed up 119 grids) and put
them against a process table with numbers from those that had come up
"After" the winning numbers. It was just a bit of fun but it mixes
things up in a nice chaotic way. There's sometimes no rhyme or reason
why numbers come up so I created my own bit of chaos. It was ok this time.
