Lottery Strategy for 12-Number Lotto Wheeling

Axiomatics:

This is one lottery strategy from the era of personal-computing infancy (1980s). The strategy was born to a legendary Atari 800XL. It was later transported to faster and faster PCs under DOS as the primary OS, eventually under 32-bit/64-bit Windows. "O tempora! O mores!"

In this strategy, we open a drawings (results) data file for 6-number lotto games. Then, we generate 12-number combinations applying various restrictions. The application that performs such an unusual task is ‘Combine6-12’, now component of an encompassing lottery software package named ‘Bright6’.

I did a run on the 6/59 lotto game in UK National Lottery. The Breshiters here might be as delighted as the Trumprics in America. I am quite against the two groups, so my intent was not to offend the Remainders or the Anti-Trumprics. There ain’t nothing political here. It is just a teaser to lighten up all spirits, as lightening up is a great elixir of creativity.

Thusly and therefore, I used a UK 6/59 file with 133 draws. The last drawing in the file (as of Saturday, 28 January 2017):

I applied the ‘Triple’ filter only:

‘Trips’ = 133 (all draws in the results file).

This setting was valid a dozen times or so in the 50 most recent lottery draws. In fact, this filter can reach even higher levels. Of course, several other filters can be enforced as well (quads, quintets, sextets). For example, the ‘sextet’ filter can reach levels well over 10 million sometimes. As fast as they might be today, the PCs still can’t handle that high restriction levels.

Obviously, there is no 12-number lotto game that is also a 6-number lottery format! As the eBook teaches further, the 12-number combosnations ought to be wheeled to 6-number lotto wheels.

Translation

For this test, I applied a lottery strategy (collection of filter settings) that occurs frequently:

• Quad = 100
• Quintet = 500
• Sextet = 20000

Matter of fact, the 'Sextet’ filter reaches frequently levels in the millions. Unfortunately, the today's computer can't still handle such tough restrictions. Handling strategies like that ('Sextet = 1000000+') would undoubtedly be a golden key to a goldmine!

I selected for publication the bottom 100 lines of a 1000+ combination output. This set can definitely be a winner in any 6/49 lotto format.

One 659 lotto combonation had 4 winning numbers. If wheeled by the ‘magnifficient 12-number lotto wheel’, there was a pretty good probability of a ‘4 of 6’ hit.

A 24-number group expands to 134596 6-number lotto combosnations (a favorite term ion my lottospeak). A group of 12 12-number strings expands to 12 * 924 = 11088 6-number combinations. Thusly, this group of 12 12-number lines expands to 12 times FEWER combinations compared to the 24-number string. By the way —
The restriction level used in this run (‘Triplet = 133’) was 41 — way below the minimum level of 33 that we set. Therefore the restriction condition was NOT fulfilled. Watch out for a fulfilment case! It happens about one every five drawings, on average.

I do not mark the 2-number hits, although they pay somehow (free tickets). I only mark 3-number hits and better.

One line had 3 winners, and another one 4 winning numbers. The strategy is meant to wheel the numbers (by applying the perfect lotto wheel for 12 numbers http://saliu.com/lottowheel.html ). The 12-number lines should be left as they are.

The combination generator applies a good number distribution algorithm. They key feature is generating at least 2 winners in a group of 3 numbers. That way, the perfect wheel assures ‘3 of 3’ and even ‘4 of 4’ (2 groups with 2 winners each). Of course, cases with 3 winners in a group can be the stuff dreams are made of.

In this case of February 11, 2017, the 2 winning lines have groups with 2 winners. The groups are separated by the | for better viewing. The first winning 12-number line offers a ‘3 of 3’ hit. The second winning line had a total of 4 hits, with one group containing 2 winners. The line assures the ‘3 of 4’ guarantee and 2 3-number wins (a fixed prize of 25 quid each).

Here is how the filter we set fared since this strategy was published.

In this report, the ‘Triplet’ filter appears as ‘Three’. This last UK 6/59 lottery drawing hit a nice level: 315. Such a level can give even better prizes, even ‘6 of 6’. Another filter to be considered is ‘Quad’; it is named ‘Four’ in this programme. It goes above 2000 when ‘Three’ (“Triplet’) goes over 100. The two combined filters would tighten up filtering to higher winning expectations. A very fast computer is needed, however.

The generation is much, much faster in the traditional ‘6 of 6’ lotto. I ran Combine6.exe (option R = Random Combinations, main menu of ‘Bright / Ultimate’ software packages). The following filters were selected:

Three = 100
Four = 1000
Del6 = 1000000 (one million).
Del6 is short for Delta-6. It eliminates all 6-number groups in each of the past draws selected (e.g. 1000000). The groups are in delta format. That is, all groups that have the same deltas are eliminated. If a past combonation was

We can also direct the software to generate combinations with 3-number groups that also appeared in the last, say, 50 lotto drawings. It is mandatory that each and every combination generated will contain at least 3 numbers from one or more past 50 draws.

Simultaneously, we can force the program to also eliminate all combinations with 3-number groups that occurred in the most recent 10 drawings. Yes, the Ionospheric software can do that — with flying colo(u)rs, mind you!

I set the following filters (just two):
THREE — minimum level = 10; maximum level = 50
Del6 = 12000000 (12 million… yes, it gets that high some 15 times in 100 draws).

The generation is much slower now since the software does gazillions of delta calculations:

I stopped my PC after only 500 combos and selected the last 20.

Here is an elegant way of copying combinations from screen at Command Prompt (CC). Click the CC icon (top left corner). Select Edit, then Mark. Select the combinations you want (they will be highlighted). This Mark feature is as advanced as a word processor (e.g. Microsoft Word). You can select a rectangular bloc of text from the screen!

Click again the CC icon, then Edit, then Copy. You can copy the block to an empty text file in Notepad (better still, the freebie Notepad++).

I do not mark the 2-number hits, although they pay somehow (free tickets). I only mark 3-number hits and better.
One line had 3 winners, and another one 4 winning numbers. The strategy is meant to wheel the numbers (by applying the perfect lotto wheel for 12 numbers http://saliu.com/lottowheel.html ). The 12-number lines should be left as they are.
The combination generator applies a good number distribution algorithm. They key feature is generating at least 2 winners in a group of 3 numbers. That way, the perfect wheel assures ‘3 of 3’ and even ‘4 of 4’ (2 groups with 2 winners each). Of course, cases with 3 winners in a group can be the stuff dreams are made of.
In this case of February 11, 2017, the 2 winning lines have groups with 2 winners. The groups are separated by the | for better viewing. The first winning 12-number line offers a ‘3 of 3’ hit. The second winning line had a total of 4 hits, with one group containing 2 winners. The line assures the ‘3 of 4’ guarantee and 2 3-number wins (a fixed prize of 25 quid each).

In this report, the ‘Triplet’ filter appears as ‘Three’. This last UK 6/59 lottery drawing hit a nice level: 315. Such a level can give even better prizes, even ‘6 of 6’. Another filter to be considered is ‘Quad’; it is named ‘Four’ in this programme. It goes above 2000 when ‘Three’ (“Triplet’) goes over 100. The two combined filters would tighten up filtering to higher winning expectations. A very fast computer is needed, however.

In this strategy, we open a drawings (results) data file for 6-number lotto games. Then, we generate 12-number combinations applying various restrictions. The application that performs such an unusual task is ‘Combine6-12’, now component of an encompassing lottery software package named ‘Bright6’.
I did a run on the 6/59 lotto game in UK National Lottery. The Breshiters here might be as delighted as the Trumprics in America. • There is a new useful feature for reading the Usenet posts in Google Groups. The vast majority of newsgroup members use GROUPS.GOOGLE.COM to post and read on the Internet pioneering service, Usenet.

One drawback of the Google service, very useful otherwise, is the default font. It is a proportional font (of variable width, that is). However, initially, Usenet was written and shown in a monospace font.
