Axiomatic one, you are a skilled computer guy. You know all too well how to manage situations like the one in your post here. You’ve done it for years and years and years. How time flies, doesn’t it?
I wrote a special Web page on using my lottery software in conjunction with Notepad++, possibly the best text editor out there:
• Software to Manage Lottery Data Files.
Running Notepad++ DIRECTLY from my software is dependent on the Windows version: 32-bit or 64-bit. By default, each version installs Notepad++ in different ‘Program Files’ destinations. The user also can choose the destination differently.
Now, there ain’t a big deal. The user can start Notepad++ form the taskbar BEFORE starting my software. Keep Notepad++ open for the duration of the run. That way, you open the LotWon reports via ‘Open’ in the editor.
Axiomaticule, I know the real reason for your post here and emails. You want to chat with me on a personal basis. However, that is mission impossible for me. There are too many solicitations. Therefore, I chat with NOBODY! As you can see, I communicate via public forums, like the newsgroups. That’s all, I wrote!
Best of luck, Totch!
